Petitcodiac, New Brunswick

2008 George Ramsay: POSTER
(The Last Ranking Shoot that was held at Petti Legion was VERY sucessful, and we are expecting the same again for this one...  The Prize Money has increased for the Ed Shand, Let's make this trend continue for the George Ramsay)  Get Out and Support the shoots.  The only way New Brunswick players can compete  in the National  Rankings, is to have the local players attend these shoots (The singles Event is the one that awards the points)..  Ranking points are based on the number entries.  So now we really need your help !!!  Lets put the Maritimes back on the Ranking list.

Saint John Summer Classic:
New $1000.00 Champions Crowned

Ike Mullin (the events first ever winner) paired up with Dave Cameron (NS) to win the tournaments 8th title...

This year was the closest it has ever been, as the champions had to defeat Brian Cyr & Jeff Smith in a playoff.. after both teams completed the round robin with 30 points..  Not only were they in a battle with one team, but 3rd/4th/5th all finished the day with 29 points.  So another board and another playoff saw Jerry Myles & Chris Steiger (NS) capture the bronze.

A big Thanks to Rothesay Avenue Billiards (as they sponsered the $1000.00 1st prize) and also  Marg & Rick Kirkpatrick for running another 8th great Summer Classic!

The payout saw $2150.00 in envelopes handed to the players!

Hope to see you all again for next years 9th Summer Classic!

I like all of the Pro's but I think the best one that I try to act like is Peter Manley, because he goes to have fun and enjoys himself

I have been playing for 17 years, I think, and I enjoy playing the game.  I enjoy going and playing different people in tournaments and Meat Shoots because I like the competition.  You can only get better by playing top caliber shooters.
